We do the earthwork side of a septic project — the tank excavation, the leach field bed, and the trenching between them — dug to your designer’s plan and the NHDES permit, backfilled with the right material, and graded so the finished system drains and sheds water the way it’s supposed to.
A septic system is only as good as the ground it sits in, and that’s the excavator’s job. We dig the tank hole to grade so the inlet and outlet fall correctly, build the leach field or mound to the designer’s cross-section with the specified sand and stone, and trench the lines at the right slope. Get the elevations wrong and the system either won’t pass inspection or won’t drain — so we work straight off the approved plan and shoot grades as we go.
We coordinate with your licensed septic designer and installer, dig test pits when soils are in question, and handle the shoreland and wetland setbacks that come with so many Lakes Region lots. You bring the design and permit; we put it in the ground right.
